Carpet Cleaning
Over time, even the most spotless looking carpets, rugs, and upholstery collect germs, dust, and soil below the surface. Allergy causing agents such pet hair, dust mites, pollen, and dander can dwell deep within carpet threads affecting you and your family long after the allergy season is gone. In the "high traffic” areas of your home, any tracking of dirt causes an increase in friction, resulting in additional wear and actually cutting those delicate carpet fibers. Consequently, the overall beauty and life is compromised. Regular professional cleaning of high usage areas not only enhances the appearance of your fabrics, removes dirt, and kills bacteria, it also extends their life.
Most carpet manufacturers recommend regular vacuuming and having your carpets professionally cleaned every 12 months. Every home is different, however, and frequency of cleaning depends on traffic volume. For instance, a family including children or an indoor pet may require more frequent cleanings.
The key to giving your carpet a long life is to clean it before you start recognizing worn and stained areas. If it looks dirty, you have already begun to do damage to your carpet. Our hot water extraction method is the one most carpet manufacturers recommend. It gives you a deep down clean that is second to none, and all of our products are pet and environmentally friendly.
Our exclusive 5 Step Cleaning Process is proven to provide the deepest level of cleaning possible. Every cleaning is a deep cleaning and includes free spot remover and deodorizer. To make it even better, all of our work is guaranteed for 14 days after service!
- Inspect: We will inspect each room and/or item to be cleaned. We will note any heavily soiled areas or staining to determine the best treatment method.
- Clean Corners and Vacuum: A technician will remove dust and debris from corners and edges of rooms. They will then vacuum your carpets, if necessary, to aid in lifting pet hair and dirt from the carpet’s surface.
- Pre-Treat: We will apply the appropriate spot remover, enzyme, or other specialty treatment where needed to ensure the most thorough cleaning.
- Brush High Traffic Areas and Stains: A technician will agitate any visible high traffic areas and stains with a brush to aide in cleaning.
- Clean and Deodorize: We will clean and rinse the entire area using our exclusive hot water extraction method with a specially formulated pH-balancing rinse and deodorizer. This will remove the pre-treatment chemicals used, leaving your carpets clean and virtually residue free.
Using ceiling fans in any rooms cleaned and turning on your air conditioning system can help accelerate drying time. We can also rake carpets for a small fee to enhance appearance and accelerate drying time.
You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning, but avoid wearing street shoes as they may re-soil your carpet. We can leave you with a free pair of shoe covers to help keep the carpets clean while they dry. Be especially careful when walking from damp, carpeted areas onto non-carpeted areas to avoid slipping.
Carpet Protector
Carpet manufacturers apply protectors at the factory to help your carpets stay cleaner longer. But, with foot traffic and vacuuming, this protection wears off over time. Having the protector reapplied helps slow down the formation of traffic patterns by allowing you to get more dirt out of your carpet with your vacuum cleaner. And it gives you extra time to clean up spills before they turn into stains.
We are so confident in the carpet protector we use, if you are unable to remove the stain yourself, we will come back within six months of application and remove the stain for you free of charge!
Stain Removal
Seminole Carpet Cleaning offers professional stain removal. Our standard spot remover is included with every cleaning and helps clean high traffic areas, dye-free drink spills (soda, tea, coffee, etc.). We do charge an additional fee for “specialty stains” such as red stains, rust, wax, paint, urine, and excessive or unusual staining.
Urine and Odor Removal
Because dogs and cats don't sweat, their urine contains alkaline salts which absorb moisture out of the air. Thus, pet urine never really dries. It becomes a feeding ground for bacteria which causes odor, staining and discoloration. Our enzyme treatment eliminates, not just masks, the odor, disinfects the area, and treats the stains.
Flea Treatment
Whether your intention is to prevent or treat a flea infestation, our home flea treatment will help meet your needs. When used with on-pet treatments and medicines, our flea spray can help keep your home free of pests. Once your carpets have been cleaned, we can apply a flea control spray to all soft surfaces of your home and around entryways. This kills fleas and flea eggs, as well as ticks, ants, cockroaches, earwigs, and silverfish, with no lingering odor and controls infestation for up to seven months.
***Keep pets and people out of treated areas until completely dry.***
*Each area is limited to single purpose room or 250 sqft. Hallways and large closets considered one area. Stairs not included in price. Specialty stains or extensive staining may require additional charges.
Tile and Grout Cleaning
Seminole Carpet Cleaning offers tile and grout cleaning for all areas of your home. Regular mopping just doesn’t reach the stubborn dirt that lies deep in the pores of your grout lines, but our powerful cleaning process does!
The days of scrubbing grout lines with a toothbrush are over. Let us take the job off your hands (and knees). We can clean all your ceramic tile and grout surfaces; including bathroom floors, showers and tubs, kitchen floors, tiled foyers and entryways, tiled halls, sunrooms, countertops, and more.
We will treat and hand-scrub all of your grout lines to loosen ground-in soil and grime, paying careful attention to the especially dirty areas. Then, we use a high pressure cleaning tool to rinse the built-up dirt and grime away, leaving your tile and grout looking like new. If any stubborn stains remain, we will acid treat problem areas and re-rinse to leave your tile and grout sparkling clean!
Clear Grout Sealant
Grout is porous, and if left unsealed, dirt, cooking oil, grease, and spills become embedded. Once it’s embedded it requires professional cleaning to remove.
After professional cleaning, we can help prevent spills from becoming stains by applying clear sealant to your grout lines. Sealant provides a protective barrier, giving you more time to wipe up dirt and spills before they can sink in and making the grout lines easier to maintain between professional cleanings.
