All of our regularly used products are environmentally, pet, and kid friendly. You, your child, or your pet can lay on the carpet as soon as it is cleaned, however we recommend you avoid contact with the damp carpeting until it is completely dry to prevent re-soiling.

While it is rare, some customers are sensitive to the cleaners we use and experience allergy-like symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose while the carpeting is damp. If you have experienced these types of symptoms in the past, we recommend you avoid the area cleaned for at least 24 hours. It is beyond our expertise to know if an individual will experience these issues.

Until carpeting is dry, eliminating traffic on it helps to prevent re-soiling. Even slight amounts of moisture can easily dislodge dirt from the bottoms of feet and paws. Wear shoe covers or a pair of clean, white socks if you must walk on wet carpet. Use caution when walking from wet carpet onto a hard surface to avoid slipping.

It is not necessary that you be home while your carpet is cleaned because our cleaning technicians are thoroughly trained professionals you can trust and we are bonded as well. In order to provide the best possible cleaning, we do recommend that someone is home before we begin cleaning to discuss any specific needs or areas of concern regarding the care of your carpet. We can also receive credit card payments over the phone at the time of service.

We require payment at the time of service for all residential customers. We may allow billing for commercial cleanings with companies that have an account set up with us. All invoices must be paid within 30 days of the date of service. A service charge of 1.5% shall be assessed on all accounts that become past-due. No services shall be rendered for any customer with a past-due account. Returned checks will incur a $25 returned check fee plus any bank fees incurred by Seminole Carpet Cleaning. Customer agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs and attorney fees should further action be required to receive payment.

A $25 deposit is required to schedule any cleaning appointment for the 2nd to last weekend in July through the last weekend in August. All deposits are non-refundable, but the amount will be applied towards your total bill at the time of service. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you must give us at least 24 hours notice for the deposit to be applied to the new appointment.

If an appointment is canceled or re-scheduled within 24 hours of the original appointment time, or no one is at the residence when the technician arrives, the entire deposit amount is forfeited and you will be charged another deposit to re-schedule the appointment.

Spaces fill up quickly. We recommend calling our office at least one week before your preferred date when scheduling an appointment, when possible.

We recommend that you wait at least one hour before walking on the floor to allow the sealant to dry. It will take 24 hours for the sealant to cure completely, so we suggest that you avoid any liquid coming in contact with the sealant during that time.

At Seminole Carpet Cleaning, we take great pride in maintaining an excellent customer satisfaction record. All of our work is guaranteed for 14 days following service. We use a low-moisture system on upholstery so drying time is kept to a minimum, usually 3 to 6 hours. Our average dry time for carpets is 6 to 8 hours, but that can greatly vary depending on the aforementioned variables. Sometimes, carpet and upholstery can take up to 24 hours to dry in very humid or cold environments.

On average, it will take approximately 15 minutes per room. This time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how dirty the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.

Most carpet manufacturers recommend regular vacuuming and having your carpets professionally cleaned every 12 months. Every home is different, however, and frequency of cleaning depends on traffic volume. For instance, a family including children and maybe even an indoor pet may require more frequent cleanings.

The key to giving your carpet a long life is to clean it before you start recognizing worn and stained areas. If it looks dirty, you have already begun to do damage to your carpet. Use the chart below to determine the cleaning frequency that fits your lifestyle.

Manufacturers of tile and grout recommend that it should be deep cleaned and sealed every 2-3 years. This varies based on the traffic levels in your home.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call no less than 24 hours before your appointment time. If no one is home when the technician arrives, he will wait for 10 minutes after the scheduled time before it is considered a no-show. No-shows, cancellations, and rescheduling appointments less than 24 hours before your appointment time will result in a forfeited deposit and may be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

Although most stains that are removed from carpet do not reappear, deep stains in carpet backing and high traffic areas may rise back to the surface or become more visible once the carpet is dry. If this happens, call Seminole Carpet Cleaning within 14 days of cleaning for assistance.

Light furniture item moving is included in our gold and chief carpet cleaning packages and with tile and grout cleaning, at your request. We do not move extremely heavy, fragile, electronic or valuable items, beds, dressers, bookshelves, large dining tables, or pianos, and may refuse to move any item. Do not replace furniture, or move any of the pads or blocks under your furniture, until the carpet is completely dry. This will prevent rust spots or stains caused by furniture legs to form on your carpet.
